Stories of Reynolds
November 2 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pmFree
Stories of Reynolds is a program to explore diversity and inclusion at Reynolds as part of the college’s 50th anniversary celebration over the 2022-2023 academic year. This program will provide an opportunity for students, alumni, faculty and other college employees to tell their stories – stories of hardship, stories of discrimination, stories of barriers, stereotypes, and misunderstanding. Members of the Reynolds community will have the opportunity to complete a storyteller application to sign up for one or more 30-minute sessions in which they will share their story, whatever story they choose to tell. These stories will be presented in a safe environment of 1-3 listeners in order to cultivate dialogue. The purpose of these interactions is to promote understanding between members of the Reynolds community, which, in turn, fosters a college environment that is welcoming and inclusive.
